Welcome to the Naples Metro
Welcome to napolimetro.com — the independent guide to the Naples Metro. The network has 3 metro lines (38 stations) and 4 funiculars linking the historic centre, the Vomero hill, the Central Station, the port, Fuorigrotta and the Phlegraean Fields. Line 1 — the «hillside metro» — is world-famous for its Art Stations.
Lines 1 and 6 and the funiculars are run by ANM, Line 2 by Trenitalia; tickets are integrated in the Unico Campania system. Here you'll find a page for every line and station, the map as a PDF, up-to-date timetables, ticket prices and a handy route planner.

An ANM single ride costs €1.50 (metro Lines 1 and 6, buses and funiculars). The integrated TIC ticket at €1.70 is valid for 90 minutes on all urban transport, Line 2 included. A day pass costs €4.50.
Line 1 runs from 06:00 until about 22:30–23:00 (Fridays and Saturdays until roughly 01:30). Line 2 from 05:43 to 23:18. Line 6 has reduced hours: weekdays 07:10–21:30, weekends until 15:30.
They are the Line 1 (and some Line 6) stations designed by world-class architects and filled with more than 200 works of contemporary art. Toledo has been named one of the most beautiful stations in Europe. Read our Art Stations guide.
The airport is not on the metro yet (the Capodichino station of Line 1 is under construction): take the Alibus shuttle (€5) to Piazza Garibaldi (Central Station) and continue on Line 1 or Line 2. Full airport guide.
Yes: get off at Campi Flegrei (Line 2) or Mostra (Line 6) — the Diego Armando Maradona stadium in Fuorigrotta is a few minutes’ walk from both.
